On September 7, our team had the pleasure of joining the Festival Horyzonty Nauki at Planetarium Śląskie in Chorzów, where we officially kicked off our educational tour across Poland.

The event featured a lecture and discussion panel devoted to our experiment Space Volcanic Algae, carried out aboard the International Space Station as part of the Axiom-4 mission. Visitors had a unique opportunity to learn about the mission IGNIS, discover how microalgae can contribute to future space exploration, and take part in an open conversation about the role of biotechnology in extreme environments.

We were delighted by the curiosity and engagement of the audience, who asked thoughtful questions about space research, sustainability, and the future of biotechnology. This interactive exchange of knowledge is at the core of our mission: to bring science closer to people and inspire the next generation of explorers.

A big thank you to Planetarium Śląskie for hosting us and to all participants who joined the lecture and panel. We are excited to continue our educational tour and meet more of you in the upcoming events!

Stay tuned for updates on our next stops!
