Polish experiments will be carried out on board the International Space Station – announced Polish Space Agency.

“The European Space Agency (ESA) has signed seven contracts with Polish institutions and companies to carry out experiments on the International Space Station (ISS). They will include, among others: research on the impact of long-term stay in space on human mental health, the operation of advanced AI units in low gravity conditions, monitoring noise levels on the ISS, and the use of microalgae in future space missions and space medicine. The projects will be implemented as part of the Polish Mission to the ISS, which opened new opportunities for the development of Polish science and Polish space technologies.

Experiments carried out as part of the Polish Mission to the ISS will be conducted by a Polish astronaut. The mission will be an unprecedented opportunity for the Polish space sector to participate in research conducted in Earth orbit.

– The mission of a Polish astronaut to the ISS, and thus the use of Polish experiments in space, is very important for the development of domestic space technologies. It is also a huge opportunity for Polish companies that will be able to test their solutions in microgravity conditions. I am sure that all this will contribute to the further development of the Polish space sector. I am also proud that our entrepreneurs compete with the European technological leaders, emphasized Deputy Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Sługocki.” more at https://polsa.gov.pl/wydarzenia/polskie-eksperymenty-na-iss/ and https://www.gov.pl/web/rozwoj-technologia/polskie-eksperymenty-beda-realizowane-na-pokladzie-miedzynarodowej-stacji-kosmicznej
